Age: 2-5 years
Activity Summary:
Here are some ideas to stretch your art supply budget while helping little ones build motor skills as they experiement with the art and texture of old wallpaper sample books.
What You Need:
•Scissors
•Paste/Glue
•Old Wallpaper Books
•Paper
What You Do:
- You can often get wallpaper books from decorating stores for free or very little.
- These can be a great material for making gift bags, collages, frames, paper mosiacs, folders, etc.
- Heavy vinyl papers can be "woven" into placemats or baskets, although you might need to staple them together or use rubber cement.
- Florals are great for that spring-like feeling!
- Many of us don't have "big" bucks but are always looking for low-cost art.
