Activity Summary:
Little ones will draw pictures of fire and then talk or write about how to stafe safe in case of a fire.
What You Need:
•Construction Paper
•Markers
What You Do:
- Ask the children to draw a picture about fire.
- After they do so, if they do not yet know how to write, ask them what their picture is of.
- Allow them to tell you their own story, as they do you, write exactly what they say.
If possible, have a local firefighter come into the classroom to talk with the children about fire safety.
