Activity Summary:
Preschoolers will draw pictures of animals based on the sounds that they make.
What You Need:
•Paper
•Pencils
•Markers or Crayons
•Imagination
•Optional: cd of animal sounds
What You Do:
- Take turns making animal sounds:
- Dog
- Cat
- Chicken
- Horse
- Lion
- Bird
- Cow
- Pig
- Sheep
- Frog
- Hand out paper, markers and crayons and have your little ones draw the animals based on the sounds they hear. Or, just have your students/kids call out the names of the animals (instead of drawing them).
- Talk about the animals... where they live, what they eat, how they move around etc.
