Activity Summary:
Preschoolers can collect fall items from outside and glue them onto a paper plate to make a wreath.
Students will develop understanding of nature through exploration.
What You Need:
•paper plates
•scissors
•glue
•red, yellow, orange leaves
•acorns
•pinecones
•other outdoor fall items that you might find
What You Do:
- Go for a nature walk with your kids/students in the fall. Collect lots of great fall items like leaves, acorns, pinecones, etc.
-
Cut out the center of paper plate to make a donut shape.
- Glue leaves, acorns and pinecones to paper plate.
- Let dry.
- Hang your decorative fall wreath for all to see!
